About Prateek Srivastava

Prateek Srivastava studied Science at CSJM University, Kanpur, before enrolling at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, to pursue his dreams of filmmaking. He started his film career as an assistant to National Award winning director Rahul Dholakia before joining Yash Raj Films, the biggest film-making and distribution company in India. Later, he joined Vijayta Films, a leading film-making company founded by the legendary actor Dharmendra. So far, he has assisted on about 11 feature films and a dozen TVCs, AVs and music videos in various capacities. His first short, Qafas (2012), was screened at numerous national and international film festivals and went on to receive awards and nominations for the best film. His debut feature film project, A Life Lost and Found, was selected at the 15th Hong Kong – Asia Film Financing Forum, Hong Kong.
