Clinik Production Lab

Previously known as Clinik.kathmandu, Clinik Production Lab takes in advanced level film projects (feature fiction only) from young filmmakers focusing on script and production analysis, and pitch training, mentored by specialized script trainers and production experts invited from Asia and Europe.

 

The Production lab is open for 6 participants from 9 countries of

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India (North East), Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka

The lab lasts for 15 days and can be extended into a month long residency after. 
 

Each project selected must fit into the criteria of being an advanced project with a keen individual background with cinema and a project that has strong local production logic and a global audience appeal.

 

Attending film projects are attached with individual script advisors who are available for a two-month period during and after the workshop through online sessions. Production analysis will involve reflection on regional and national cinema and the prospects of opportunities with global participation based on local availabilities.

 

The final phase of the workshop is expected to be attended by Clinik industry partners, which will comprise of industry induction process of the program. Different international film programs including Cinemart, Locarno Open Doors and HAF have recognized Clinik Production lab.

Participation is subject to selection. A maximum of 6 positions are available.

The 2016 workshop will start on the 4th - 17th November 2016

Month long residency: Continues after the workshop from 18th of November 2016
